Hello my lovelies,
I’ve recently fallen in love with eyeshadow again: matt, glittery or glossy, I’m here for all of it just in time for the festive season. If you’re deciding on your holiday glam, then it’s the perfect time to have a look at the 2 festive looks you need to wear this season.
💋🎄👉🏻
When deciding on a look, I love to take my inspiration from the season. This festive one, I’ll be wearing lots of golden, silver, black and hints of red. Ready for the 2 festive looks you need to wear now? Let’s GO ✨
Look #1: The Ice QueenThe technique
We all love a little Ice Queen moment, don’t we? For this look, I’ve only used four shades from the Makeup Revolution Extra Spice Palette x Soph: Infinity, Cookie Dough, Dreams and Reputation.
Complextion
I have used the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Mattifying Primer to prime my skin. Use your favourite foundation on top and I promise you it will stay on for a very long time. As an oily skin person, this is my holy grail when it comes to keeping it in check. Matt skin? Yes, please! To become a true ice queen, add the white highlighter from the La vie en Glow Highlighting Palette by L’Oreal Paris.
Festive Eyeshadow
For the base, I’ve taken my Cookie Dough shade and applied it all over my lids. On top, I’ve added my Infinity shade and made sure I blended these very well, before coming in to smoke the look with Reputation. When you add the dark shade, which is a raven black in our case, make sure you follow your eyelid lines and keep a good length between your eyebrow and the black shade. For my brow bone, I’ve nicely applied Dreams to blend out the black edges and give a nice shimmer to my brow bone. I’ve followed the same steps for my bottom lid.
Can you spot the amazing icy blue highlight in the inner corner of my eyes? To me, that’s the cherry on the cake! I’ve used La vie en Glow by L’oreal to give that amazing blueish glow and continued to blend until it reached the mid of my eyelid.
Congratulations you ice queen! Now, set everything with the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Fixing Spray.

Look #2: Golden Rush
The technique
The classy Golden Look with a twist. Who doesn’t love a bit of Gold during the festive period? Let’s get into the tutorial, shall we?
Complexion
I love using the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Mattifying Primer to prime my skin and make sure I will have it matt for a long time! It’s a true saviour for oily skin, honey.
After you apply your favourite foundation, apply the second shade from the left in the L’Oreal Paris La vie en Glow Highlighting Powder Palette for a wonderful golden glow. Sickening!
Festive Eyeshadow
For this look, I’ve also used the Makeup Revolution Extra Spice Palette x Soph. I’ve started off by applying Cookie Dough all over my lids, then added the LA Sun on top. Make sure you blend these really well together, including on the edges. It’s time for the fun part time now! I’ve created a beautiful smokey eye by adding Reputation on the corner of my eye. Applying Dreams from my brow bone to blend everything gave my golden look an amazing turnout.
All done. Set everything with the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Fixing Spray and slay the day.
