If you’ve downloaded my FREE New Year’s Resolution’s Template, you must have already planned your 2020 goals which is absolutely amazing! You’re one step closer to achieving them in the New Year. However, the real question is, how to keep up with these New Year Resolutions? Let’s have a (quick) read of my 5 tips to help you keep THEM.

Welcome to my #NGSmashigItSeries which is pretty much a series that will live here on my blog and continue to push and motivate you. It will make you smash your goals and projects! Sometimes, I will speak from my own experience, but also from everything I have been reading around. I might sound like I figured out everything which I did not, but hell I will try to and I know I will do my absolute best to become an expert at everything that I do. My ambition is second to none. Stay with me because exciting times are coming up.

After this short and sweet introduction of the series, let’s get into the meaty stuff. So, you’ve set up your New Resolutions. That’s great. Now, the real challenge is how to actually keep up with them. Having them just laid out on your notebook won’t do wonders for you.

1. Manifest & envision your goals coming true

It might sound easy at first sight, but it takes a little bit of practice. I sometimes envision my goals coming true and all the little details: the business I’m running, the house I’m living in, the new lifestyle, but I have noticed it’s hard to keep focused on this for too long. It also seems that it takes a lot out of me because I’m not so happy to keep going and going. What works for me though is to only envision one thing at a time. With that in mind, just focus on your new lifestyle for example, or on you managing to cut out a bad habit out of your life. The power of manifestation is real, so use it to your advantage.

2. Become an expert at PRIORITISATION

Truth be told here, if you want to be successful you need to make quite a lot of sacrifices. You’d need to cut out on hanging out with friends, work weekends, work 12 hours a day and many others. Trust me, all your sacrifices will make the difference one day.  It may seem impossible now, but it’s not. Since two years ago, I’ve became the most efficient version of myself and the results are speaking from themselves.

One thing that is fascinating to me is the energy I have for these things. They spark something in me and if you’re serious about your goals, they will in you too.


3. Focus on more fields at once

Do you remember your fields, right?

  • Health
  • Wealth
  • Lifestyle
  • Relationships
  • Career

Get a planer and take baby steps to grow each of these fields at the same time. Don’t wait to complete one 100% and only then start to action the others. This is not applicable in the case of goal setting because things are interconnected most of the times. Don’t stress yourself, but be disciplined to setting the right scene for each. 4. Get around likeminded people

Funnily enough, although it’s hard to believe, we become very similar to the people with whom we spend our time. Yes, if they’re lazy, don’t expect you to do something else than be lazy together. Lame. If they are proactive & inspiring, they will be the ones who you look up to. You’ll want to succeed too. You’ll desire to SMASH IT. Choose your friends wisely, my friends!

5. Always trust yourself

Repeat to yourself: I’m sure I can do this. I will do this! It’s important to trust yourself and have a positive approach to your life. Become your biggest fan, it will pay off.
