Motivation is important because it gives us the drive to take action. Achieving a goal is a process. All the components of that process lead you to definite success.

The drive to go after what you desire comes from various reason. You want to start a business. You want to grow your mindset. Upskill a passion you have. These are reasons that come from within. The desire to self-development. It can come from material wishes as well. Or it can come from people. Having the motivation to be good at your job comes with a reward of a promotion, or increase in salary.

Motivation is a key factor of self-actualization

Firstly, from a psychological point of view, motivation can be found in the pyramid of human needs. By default, we have a need for reaching our full potential. We grow and find the highest meaning in life by attending to things beyond the self.

Secondly, the interesting part is that sometimes we lack motivation. The lack of drive can come from thinking that we will never get there. Or even believing the timing is not right. Or to put it simply, we just think we can’t accomplish our goals. However, we might not set goals that are aligned with what we want to achieve.

Thirdly, motivation is behind every action taken. People with drive and desire have changed the life around them. In fact, they created mobile phones, so we can keep up with family easily. They created means of transportation to get us to certain destinations and meet beautiful people.

Basically, motivation has solved so many problems and created comfort in our lives.

Furthermore, motivation is important in claryfying a goal. It makes you learn perseverence, inspires others and increases self-confidence.

Motivation is the main factor that turns a thought into action. Here are a few of my favourite ways to get my motivation back on track, along with a FREE Cheatsheet.

You find your energy

Redesign your way of working and pushing through. Find things that give you pleasure, and boost your energy. Even if those things are listening to music, you can turn the volume up when listening to your favorite playlist. You need mood bosters to help you get your mojo and push through it.

Practice gratitude | Motivation

Next is having gratitude every day. To look at things in perspective. Saying thank you for all the things you accomplished until now. Reflect on the positive outcomes in your life after motivation took over. Think of the things you are happy about and thankful.

Have a support system

However, having a support system is crucial when you want to turn your life around. For example,when having the drive to go after your dreams it’s nice to have that external push. The people around you are important and can help you through challenges and that care for your well-being.

Make it fun

Find a fun way to keep motivated. Make a mood board of things that inspire you, and motivate you to keep chasing your goals. Add funny photos of people, things, memes and funny quotes.

Additionaly to all of this, be nice to yourself. Don’t beat yourself up if one day you don’t have the drive force you had yesterday. It’s just a day. It will not stop you from achieving your goals. Stay focused and believe you will get there. You have to accept the days you don’t feel as motivated, and trust that tommorrow will be better.

Finally, you also need to give yourself a pat on the back once in a while. Acknowledge the power you have and that you can make everything you set your mind to a reality. Keep pushing through and sorround yourself with supporting people and believe in yourself.

The Law of Attraction is a guiding principle in which focusing on the positive aspects in your life brings back wonderful outcomes and opportunities. The main focus of this principle is to raise your vibration, avoid negative thinking and only surround yourself with positivity.

Firstly, for it to work, you need to be intentional about your desires. VISUALISE your thoughts, create mood boards and set intentions for everything you do. Close your eyes and see exactly what you want! If you only attract good things and think about positive matters, you will be closer to manifesting the life you’re dreaming about. You’re worthy of having everything your heart desires.

The power of believing

Furthermore, believing in your thoughts and thinking you will get what you ‘order’ to the Universe is another important aspect when applying the law of attraction. Simply wanting will not be enough. You need to believe deep down that the Universe will reward you. Additionally to being intentional, believing and visualising, you have to create positive emotions. Furthermore, you need to surround yourself with love, joy, appreciation and practice gratitude every single day. The energy you put in is the energy you get out.

When applying the law of attraction, you need to create the perfect environment to manifesting your dream life. Declutter your mind when you attract things. In fact, that’s how you attract positive feelings, amazing outcomes and great opportunities.

Live in the present moment

Secondly, living in the present and creating thoughts in the present is the key to attraction. Focusing on what will be, or what you will achieve in the future, will create only negative emotions in the present, like always doubting and overthinking.

The power of speaking into existence | The key of how the Law of Attraction Works

A excellent component to do whilst beginning to apply attraction is to talk your dreams and goals into existence. Proudly say what you need in life, I need X, I am attaining Y. If your goal is to have a healthy lifestyle, begin your day by saying „Today I am healthy, I am eating foods to fuel and nourish my body and I am moving in alignment to my body’s needs”.

Lastly, the most important thing in life and in using attraction is balance. There can’t be only negative or positive thoughts. You don’t need to suppress your negative emotions, you need to acknowledge them. The most important thing is what you do when you have negative emotions and thoughts. How you overcome those, how you let a light of positivity shine through in that moment of negativity. For example, when thinking about your goals and dreams, there might be a moment when you will think that you will not achieve what you want. You need to accept your moment of worry and trust in your power and in yourself you will make your goal, your dream a reality.

The bottom line is, that’s how the law of attraction works. So, keep this simple guidance in mind when starting to use the power of attraction and see how your life changes according to your mind.

You might struggle to keep motivated during 2021. Months have flown by and here we are in November 2021. Just a little longer and we can leave behind another year full of memories, ups and downs, love and more. It may seem hard not to be nostalgic or on the contrary, you can’t wait for a new beginning.

So the question is: How do you stay motivated for the remaining months? Well, the answer you’re seeking hides in this article.

Read on to learn how to get through the season of change with flying colours. Are you ready?

Retrospective

One of the main things that will help you stay motivated is to think back on your year. Find an area where you did well and remind yourself of every accomplishment you’ve enjoyed. It may sound silly, but it’s very healthy to remember all of your successes. That way, you don’t need other people to tell you: “you can do it”. After all, you have living proof. Your results are the best example that can prove to you that you are really good.

So, sit down and get ready to take a look back at 2021. Imagine all the things you have achieved. Nothing else is going to give you a bigger boost of confidence and perseverance. Don’t you believe me?! Well, it’s up to you to try it and let me know afterwards 😉

Get your motivation from other places

If you feel you can’t motivate yourself now, try looking for motivation in other places. For example in books, films, documentaries. Often, when people see a film where the main character is persistent and works very hard to achieve their dream, they tend to get a boost of ambition in return.

It’s normal not to feel like yourself all the time. Besides, 2021 was not an easy year at all. So it’s a great idea to find your motivation to finish it strong. I recommend you to take some time for yourself, try not to stress for a few days and focus your attention on finding or maintaining your motivation. Look for a good film or read a great book and learn from the experiences of characters.

Review your goals regularly

As you know, ambition comes and goes. That’s why it’s recommended to make a planner where you write down all your goals. A good exercise is to review them regularly so that you can remember what you are actually working towards. You need to remember how many steps you have taken so far. Besides, a planner will help you organise your professional life in a constructive way.

I believe that as long as you constantly remember your dream, the motivation will not disappear. Think that in just two months you can reinvent yourself and start a much better year!

Smile

Sounds funny, I know. But, one of the best ways that will help you keep motivated during 2021 is to force yourself to smile more. Morning, noon and night. You have to smile. A great exercise is when you walk past mirrors to smile at yourself. Never mind that you might actually want to cry. People can trick their brains into thinking they’re happy if they smile constantly.

Happiness in turn brings a big dose of motivation. That’s why it’s also important to be in a good mental state when you work and seek to achieve your goals. If you ever have difficulty simply pretending, I happen to have an idea that can help you out. Stick a few post-its with encouraging quotes and compliments on your bathroom vanity. That way, every day you’ll start your morning smiling.

Surround yourself with positivity

In order to keep motivated during 2021, you’ll have to surround yourself with positivity. Thus, you have to cut off all people who bring malice and negativity into your life. You have to put yourself first and realise that the law of attraction is real. Manifest and try to think positively every day.

As long as you continue to believe that everything is possible, no one can stop you. You don’t need people who wish you harm and only want to demoralise you. What you have to do is to stay close to the people you love and who love you back.

All things considered, it’s not that hard to keep motivated during 2021, right? It’s time to improve your life and to step up your game.

Therefore, if you want to see change in your life, it’s about time to surround yourself with positivity, to read motivational stories, to review your goals and even to force yourself smile.

Do you feel that your success is actually a fraud? That you don’t really deserve all the things you’ve achieved? Many people who have succeeded in life, either suddenly or have worked hard for success, end up blaming themselves and believing that they didn’t actually deserve it.

If you feel you fall into this category, this article is for you. It’s time to realise that you actually deserve all the good things in your life: your career, your relationships, the love you’re receiving. Instead of blaming yourself, you should be grateful for everything you’re currently enjoying.

Now, what I need you to do is just sit down. Pour yourself a glass of fresh water and let’s go through this article together. Focus and get ready feel less anxious and proud of your accomplishments.

Confess

Fess’ up! It’s time to say what’s on your mind. One of the reasons you feel overwhelmed and guilty is because you’re going through them on your own. Instead, talk to your loved ones and tell them how you feel. Once you do that, you’ll realise how silly you sound! The imposter syndrome is not an easy one. It comes with a lot of guilt. That’s why you need to talk about it to overcome it.

Think positive

Negativity has never helped. In a world as harsh as the one we live in, you have to think positively in order to evolve. Look on the bright side. If you were the person who succeeded, it doesn’t mean you took away the chance from someone who may deserve it more. You need to exploit your work and prove to yourself that you are the right person for the job.

Success is not easy, you will meet jealous people who will make you feel like an imposter. Stereotypes often arise such as: “Surely he had relationships so he could reach such a high rank”. Don’t feel overwhelmed, feel proud. You know what the truth is and you don’t have to let anyone else tell you otherwise. Surround yourself with like-minded people who can rejoice in your achievements. Put aside the negativity and hate in your life and focus on becoming the best version of yourself.

You are not perfect

The imposter syndrome often triggers because you feel you have to be perfect to achieve success. However, this is far from the truth. Perfection is an impossible thing that no one can have. It’s normal to not know what to say or how to act in different situations. So, if you’re ever put in a situation where you don’t know what to do, don’t think you are not good enough. Everyone makes mistakes and everyone has doubts. You can ask for advice or learn from the people around you. Besides, it’s important to admit to yourself that you’re not the best at everything. For example, there are people who have superior writing skills but are afraid to speak in public. That doesn’t mean they don’t have the words, just that they aren’t necessarily good in a particular field. This can be overcome with good advice, exercise and determination.

It is indeed a fact that real imposters do not have this syndrome. Remember that 90% of intelligent people with a high success rate deal with this syndrome. So if you have realised that you fall into the group of people who have to deal with imposter syndrome, you are a person who has all of the above. You are a hardworking, perfectionist person who often cannot take credit for what you do. It is not a bad thing to be humble, however you should not load yourself with such negative energies.

So, if you need a reminder that you deserve everything you have achieved so far, go back in time and go through all the things you have done to achieve success. That’s how you’ll realise that you actually deserve everything that happens to you.

Therapy

Perhaps it seems to you that only people with a serious problem talk to therapists. Well, it’s not real at all. Everyone needs a licensed, non-subjective person to talk to from time to time. I should mention that when it comes to the imposter syndrome, advice from a professional is much more recommended than advice from a friend.

A therapist will find an innovative and intelligent method to help you overcome your problems. They will never judge you and will make you understand in a split second that you really have nothing to feel guilty about.

That’s why I personally suggest everyone around me to book a session with a therapist from time to time and talk about certain issues.

All things considered, you don’t have to feel guilty about having achieved great things. On the contrary, be proud of your success and help others to rise with you. You can follow any or all of these tips. The decision is in your hands. In the end, all I wish for you is that you make it through this bump in your life and realise how unique you are. I find well-being tips extremely important in times like these. During this pandemic, you need to take extra good care of yourself. Paying attention to your health and well-being should be one of your top priorities. Follow my well-being tips and make a good change for yourself this Autumn. Are you ready to embark on this journey of self development?

About well-being

Health is the most precious thing you can have – after I was in and our of hospital last month with my allergic reaction, I’m becoming even more aware of this. If you think about it, all the money in the world can’t buy you your health. Of course, they can improve it. However, the time you spend taking care of yourself can improve not only your physical health, but also your mental health.

Sometimes, you have to put your problems aside and realise that your body is your temple. As long as you maintain the health of this temple, it will be much easier to achieve success. Cultivate yourself, exercise, seek knowledge and take a moment to relax. All these exercises will improve your productivity, creativity and ultimately your determination. You’ll succeed in everything you set out to do as long as you take care of yourself!

1. Candle therapy

Scented candles are indeed therapeutic. Their scent can gently induce a state of relaxation and comfort. Now that the holiday season is approaching, I for one love the winter themed scents. Besides, the beautiful atmosphere you can create with the help of candles, they can also bring a lot of comfort. For example, prepare a bubble bath and instead of leaving the light on, you can opt for an opaque candlelight.

Also, I’ve got a trick for you. Instead of lighting a dozen candles, place one or two of them in front of your bathroom mirror. Their light will spread throughout the room. That way, you can take the evening off and just relax. This month, I’ve finally tried the raved about scented candles from Bath & Body Works.

Made with essential oils, their scent is very strong indeed – you only need one candle and the scent will be spread through your entire space. Plus, you don’t need to light them for long! I honestly love this effect because I don’t need to change my candles so often and I get to enjoy some incredible winter scents – Frozen Lake and Winter Vanilla are my go to now!

2. Pumpkin Spice

For many people, baking is a form of relaxation. It can train your attention and patience. It also gives you the opportunity to spend time with yourself. You can use that time to meditate, listen to a self-development workshop or to your all time favourite tunes. With Autumn coming, I can’t stop thinking about pies or brownies.

You can search for a beginner recipe and who knows, maybe you’ll find a new hobby. After baking, your mind will be much more relaxed and ready to come back with new ideas and initiatives. Besides, the end result may bring a smile not only on your face, but also on the faces of your loved ones who are going to taste the delicious cake you baked.

3. Face masks

Let’s have a spa day at home. Well, I personally love pampering. Not only do I love preparing my own face masks, but I love the way they manage to relax me in just 15 minutes. Although I’m a down-to-earth person, on hard days at work my thoughts fly left and right in the evening. Which is why I love to give myself a little attention.

You can make face masks out of almost anything, literally. So, find some time to spare and use it with the goal of improving both your complexion and your mindset.

4. Seek knowledge

Well, this is one of my favorite activities. I’ll admit, I’m a bit of a history buff. That’s why I love gathering knowledge about this field. I watch documentaries and read books related to my favorite historical topics. I debate with myself and try to improve my perspective all the time. Whenever I have a little free time, I use it to become a better version of myself.

This is really one of the most important well-being tips I will offer you. Always seek knowledge! It is so important to have the ability to have a discussion in which you support your point of view. And last but not least, to be able to consider yourself a well-read and informed person. That’s why it’s time to choose a good book or documentary and enrich your general knowledge! It will help you enormously in the future.

5. Meditation

Meditation will help you put your thoughts in order, find inner peace and control your emotions. It is a technique that has been used for thousands of years and if done correctly, it does not fail.

Breathe in. Breathe out. Find a private place and sit in meditation pose. Clear your mind and prepare to contemplate on your life. You need to set a slow pace and focus on your breath. Clear your negative thoughts and find inner peace. Meditation is your best friend when it comes to self development in terms of the psyche. You need to be deep and start to understand how your thoughts and feelings really work. But once you master the art of meditation, you will become a better version of yourself.

All things considered, these well-being tips might seem quite obvious. However, I want to remind you how important they are in order to become the person you’ve always wanted to be. The power is in your hands, dear. Use it wisely.

Self development is an amazing thing to focus on. After all, you should do your best to improve YOUR life. Do you happen to feel like making a decision is hard and you get lost during the process?

Trust me, we all have dark thoughts from time to time. Being emotional and feeling overwhelmed is completely normal. However, I’m here to help you as much as I can because I’ve also been through what you’re feeling right now.

Well, I’m here to give you my best pieces of advice when it comes to decision making. Are you ready to embark on this amazing journey?

What does the decision-making process actually mean?

Everyone has to make certain decisions during their lifetime. The process itself is called the decision making process.

It is very important that during this so-called ritual to have a clear mind, to be able to concentrate and to be aware that you have to weigh what your mind tells you and what your heart tells you.

To follow your mind or your heart?

As I have already said in the previous paragraph, a balance must be created between your mind heart. Your heart and your spirit are the things that differentiate you from a robot. Having your own feelings, preferences and fears will influence you a lot in making a decision.

On the other hand, it is important that the situation itself is also passed through the filters of your mind. Why? you ask.

Well, the mind plays a very important role in this process. You need to be aware of the consequences your decision will cause. Calculate carefully the situation you are placed in.

How’s it looking so far?

About attention and concentration

Although people often make good decisions while they are stressed or in a hurry, my advice is for you to focus a little on the decision you are about to make.

You don’t have to rush into a decision, but at the same time you don’t have to think too much either. You will now have to balance things again. If you focus all your attention and time on the decision you are about to make, you will end up missing the point.

Find some free time, try not to panic and clear your mind. Before long, you’ll be able to make a decision. To make your job easier, the whole process can take place in a private, safe and quiet place.

Don’t be afraid of a bad decision

You know what they say, bad decisions make good stories! All kidding aside now. Never be afraid of a bad decision. After all, you did what you thought was right at the time. Everyone makes mistakes. Besides, those “mistakes” will help you in the future. You will know what to adjust in your life and how to look at certain situations differently.

I can say that I have also made a lot of bad decisions. With time, I understood I didn’t have to feel guilty anymore. I learned that I needed to be more careful and focus on my own self-development.

The point is, now that I know that everything is going to take a turn for the better at some point: I am absolutely not afraid of the process of making a decision anymore.

Taking everything into consideration, with a little self-confidence, focus and balance, the process of making a decision becomes simple. Put your anxiety aside and think about what’s best for your future. I think this may be the most valuable piece of advice I can give you right now.

Always remember that you never stops learning. Put your fears aside and really live.

Self investment is something that I’ve started to focus on a few years back and I’m so grateful that I did. I’m honestly recommending doing this to everyone I know.

After all, YOU are the most important person in your life. As long as you’re healthy, happy and focused on your goals, things will go as planned: your productivity will boost, all of your relationships will improve and you’ll get to reach the lifestyle you’ve been dreaming of.

The best thing you can invest in after all, is not an object, is yourself.

But, how to do it? Why is it so important?

1. What is self investment?

Actually the definition is quite simple. It’s really when you decide to invest energy, finances and time in yourself. It doesn’t matter if you do it in order to develop yourself, to improve a skill or to enjoy life more.

2. Why is it important? ⭐️

Let me give you a good example here. Let’s say that you invest in a business, and start buying professional equipment, employing good people, improving the schedule, taking good care of its image. Your business will start growing. The quality of its services will get higher and the profit will also grow with time. You will now have a high class business that everyone appreciates and aspires to have.

However, if you wouldn’t have invested anything, the business would’ve remained at the same level it started.

It’s literally the same thing with self investment.

As long as you take good care of yourself you will grow higher and higher. Your skills and qualifications will improve and you’ll finally become the best version of yourself.

3. ETM – Energy, Time, Money ✔️

These are the three most important investments you can make in yourself. Each and every single one of them has its impact and importance in your lifestyle.

Energy – If you invest your energy in yourself, you’ll be able to focus on you much more. Your productivity will increase and the results of your work will improve significantly.

Time – It’s important to use your time very wisely. Remember that we only have limited time in this life. Clear your schedule and think about what YOU want to do. Use your time in order to perfect this version of yourself.

Money – Of course finances are important. We live in the 21st century after all. Use your money wisely and invest some of them in yourself. There are a few things that only money can buy and they for sure will improve your lifestyle.

4. Energy for YOU 💡

How can you invest energy in yourself? There are for sure many ways, but let me give you some examples.

You can go for a run in the morning. This way, you’ll use your energy in a productive and healthy way. Not only you get a chance to clear your mind, but you can also work on your figure.

However, if you’re not into running you can try any other sport. Yoga, swimming, gym training, there are so many options. And all of them will have an amazing impact on your lifestyle.

5. Time for YOU ⌛️

Sometimes, your schedule is literally full from 8am in the morning until evening time or late at night. I get it, we’ve all been there. However, you absolutely need to invest some time in yourself. Take a few days off and go on a trip. I went on a couple of life changing trips in 2021 and it’s the best decision I’ve taken this year.

You can also spare a few hours in order to read a book, watch a movie, listen to some music. All of these recreational activities will help your creativity and productivity grow. You need to relax from time to time in order to achieve your true potential.

6. Money Investments 🌟

Money can buy loads of things. However, if you really want to use them wisely, you should always invest a bit in yourself.

For instance, you can invest in your appearance. In order to be successful you have to look successful. Take care of yourself!

You can invest in programs and courses that will help you perfect one of your skills. You can buy some self development books you wanted to read.

Moreover, you can buy some professional equipment that will make your work much more easier (a new laptop or a professional camera).

All of these things will help you on your way to success.

It’s not that hard to make considerable steps into your self development journey. Actually, working on your communication skills will help you become the best version of yourself. After a hard pandemic year, everyone forgot how important socialising truly is. You might’ve stopped seeing your friends and it got harder to get back to normal. However, once you succeed getting rid of your anxiety, things will get much more easier.

It’s important to improve your communication skills in order to build bridges, to learn from others experiences and also, as a source of entertainment . There are many reasons that’ll make you consider improving this trait. Let me share my secrets with you.

1. Be an active listener

How ironic it is, in order to advance in your communication skills, you’ll first have to be a good listener. An effective communicator is always paying attention to the conversation and to the things the others are saying.

If you feel too anxious to enter the conversation, this exercise is perfect for you. Listen to the conversation and think about answers in your head. However, you should try not to zone out. Even if you’re not as talkative as the others, everyone will appreciate if you pay respect to their conversation and listen.

Also, you can try to show the people around you that you understand, agree or disagree with them through facial expressions and gestures. You can nod your head every time you agree with someone, look curious when you are waiting to hear more about a conversation etc… Your face and gestures will communicate for you and help you engage into the conversation without actually talking .

2. About emotions

If you are an emotive person you might feel too anxious to fully express your point of view. You could try focusing on something else. Every time you feel like sinking, focus on your breath. You can even count every breath of air you take. You will calm down and be able to join the conversation again. However, you should keep it simple and short until you’re comfortable enough. After you feel like yourself again, you can try using longer phrases and expressing yourself freely.

It’s important to remember that everyone feels anxious from time to time. It’s a normal emotion. You shouldn’t be ashamed of yourself. Just work to become the best version of yourself. Your self development journey won’t be easy, but it’s amazing to see how far you’ve come.

3. Feedback?

Ask your friends for some feedback. They’ll help you realise your communication flaws and imperfections. You should ask them for a sincere response. Also, don’t forget that negative feedbacks are also really helpful. This way, you’ll get the chance to improve and work on the things you haven’t noticed by now.

Being aware of how others perceive your way of socialising will have a great impact on your self development journey.

Moreover, if the feedbacks are positive you’ll get an instant confidence boost. You’ll realise that you are enough and that you’re making progress. Oh, how could I’ve forgot! Progress!!! You should also celebrate every step you take in the right path! You deserve it!

4. Don’t talk over other people

It’s important to respect every member of the conversation. Even if you’re disagreeing with someone, let them finish their phrase and then you’ll also get the chance to express yourself. I agree that in some situations it’s quite hard not to interrupt someone. However, everyone should be allowed to finish their point of view. I believe you don’t like being interrupted as well.

If you want to add something, the rule stays the same. After the person speaking finishes you can simply say : “ I’d like to add that (…) “. The conversation will flow better and will be much more intelligible.

People these days somehow forgot about this amazing form of showing respect, even if it’s a great way to improve your communication skills.

5. Eye contact

When you are having a conversation it’s important to make eye contact with the person speaking. This way, you will show them that you’re paying attention to what they’re saying. Moreover, this “exercise” will also help you understand that person at another level. People tend to express their emotions and feeling through facial expressions. If you maintain eye contact, you’ll fully understand what are that persons feelings, thoughts and emotions.

In addition, you’ll pay respect to them and you’ll also show your engagement to the conversation.

Being able to communicate is amazing. Therefore, you should be constantly looking into how to improve your skills. By socialising we meet people, create relationships, make an impression about ourselves and also prove our points. It’s important to master this skill in order to go on with your self development journey.

1. Be aware of your purpose

If you want to succeed in becoming the best version of yourself, you’ll have to know your purpose. You can’t go ahead with your journey without knowing what your goal is.

If you don’t exactly know what your purpose is, you’ll have to start looking for it. Start asking yourself different questions until you define what it is that drives you. And when you realise what your purpose is, your motivation will instantly boost. Even if it might seem like you can’t find your answer, just continue looking, it’s hidden in your inner self. Maybe you can even take a few days off, just to focus on yourself and on what you really want.

2. Don’t be afraid of failure

You can’t start your self development journey if you’re afraid of failure. Everyone has ups and downs in life. It’s completely normal. Once you understand how many things you can learn from your mistakes, you’ll be able to entirely focus on the process. It’s completely normal to be anxious and to only hope for the best, but you know what they say : “The road to success is paved with failures”.

I believe you’ve seen or read at least a few stories of one’s road to success. Therefore, you’ve seen how many challenges they’ve encountered on the way. Without these challenges, their stories would’ve never been inspiring enough and they’d never be able to get to where they are today. Motivational, right? Think about that the next time you face a hard time.

3. Think big!

Don’t be ashamed or afraid to think big! For instance, if you set an easy to reach goal, it’ll be hard to know what your next step is when you’ve achieved the goal. However, if you set higher goals, you’ll be constantly motivated to work hard and to improve yourself on the way. Productivity and creativity will come on the way. Also, you’ll be able to achieve many other important skills and traits on the way.

In order to become the best version of yourself, you’ll have to think big and to believe that you can do it! Without positivity, you’ll fall into dark thoughts and you’ll slow the process of achieving success.

4. Take care of your mind

As I’ve said before, too many negative thoughts can easily harm your mind. Therefore, if you ever feel like you’re falling into your own thoughts and your emotions seem to drown you, don’t be ashamed to consult a therapist or someone who has enough knowledge to support you. It’s important to take care of your mind. Without it, you’ll never be able to achieve your goal.

However, if you don’t feel comfortable going to a specialist, you can at least talk to the people you can confide in. Tell them about your thoughts and free yourself from all the worries. Sometimes, a good chat is the best answer.

5. Free time

Even if it might seem like the harder you work, the faster you’ll achieve your goal, it’s not entirely true. It’s important to take breaks from time to time, in order to gain your energy and motivation back. For example, try not to work too much during the weekends. These are only for your well-being and relaxation. Instead, you can still do productive things. For example, hiking, going to visit another city, reading, jogging all of these examples are amazing for your self development journey. If above I spoke about keeping your mind healthy, now I am talking about keeping your body in shape. Let it relax because after all, your body is your temple, right?

When meditation is mastered, the mind is unwavering like the flame of a candle in a windless place.

I find it very interesting how a technique used in the 5th millennium BC is still popular in our day and age. Meditation has ties in ancient Egypt and China. It’s believed that it’s originally from India and throughout the years, neighbourhood countries adopted it.

However, even if specialists can state that meditation began thousands of years ago, the exact date is still uncertain. Imagine that even greek philosophers used to practice meditation in order to improve their philosophical life.

In the past, men and women used to believe they gained wisdom by meditating. Which is actually quite true! During the time when Buddha expanded meditation throughout India, 3 ways of meditation began well known and used.

Jain meditation in India – this type of meditation involves your mantra and thinking deeply about the three pedestals of thinking: focusing your attention on the right faith, knowledge and conduct.

Taoist meditation in China – this practice accentuates on the union with nature and on your inner self.

Confucian meditation in China – in order to engage in this type of meditation you don’t have to stop your thoughts, just to redirect your focus on grasping discipline in your current state.

Well, not really, but this practice really improves your health. Meditation is known for lowering blood pressure and cholesterol. Therefore, it really does a great job in strengthening your immune system.

Considering how much you have to focus on clearing your mind and relaxing your body if you are in a meditation state, we can all approve that this practice also reduces stress. If you learn how to control your mind and how to get rid of the unwanted thoughts, you can instantly reduce the level of stress you’re confronting with in a day.

If you want to use your full potential, you’ll have to be relaxed and to stop overthinking things.

If you focus your mind on the positive aspects of life and you meditate weekly in order to maintain your personal growth journey, your creativity will increase on the way. It is normal for you to be much more motivated and creative if your mental state is a good one.
