Hello there,

The whole purpose of this post is to guide you through packing with those beautiful places you’ll see in mind. Going to Rome? Then you will look amazing in a long white dress next to Fontana Di Trevi. Packing up for Barcelona? That short blue dress would fit right in on Barceloneta Beach. I think you absolutely get what I’m on about here. I will show you an actual example of when I packed for going to Palermo and the Sicilian coast. So, let’s pack and imagine you in that exact scenery.

Start by placing your clothes on your bed in categories (as below)

Think about the colours of the places you’ll see. In my case, I’ve known I will be around the city, so my background would be sandy yellow, orange and white, but also I would spend a lot of time on the beach too. So, I made sure to pack items that won’t get lost in the background. Once you picked out your colour palette for the place, now it’s time to think about how you want your pictures to look like.

Pick items that go well in different combinations

Once you decide on your colour palette, think about creating outfit combinations or pack things that go well together. For example these H&M shorts and the long Zara pants below them can be mixed with different tops. Your look can be casual or sexy depending on what you’re after in that moment.  You can see more examples of how I chose to wear them in my previous post Get the Holiday Look: Sicily Spring/Summer Lookbook 2018.

You need at least a one-piece item

What do I mean by that? Having a dress or a jumpsuit would be just perfect! You don’t have to worry about mixing and matching and you’ll be sure you have two outfits to put on and look amazing without the whole fuss. Let’s not mention how cool they look in on the Gram! Example of how I worn the dress:

Pack your shoes wisely

I say wisely because you need comfy shoes that also look amazing! I would go for lace sandals and ribbon trainers – super girly and special! Ah, and don’t forget these perfect wedges – they are my definition of perfect high-heels – they will make any outfit even better.

And that’s how I styled what I packed for this 5 day trip on my birthday weekend. Super easy & light luggage as well. You can always follow me on Instagram for more outfit shots at @missandradavonc.

Best of luck with your packing and have a wonderful time wherever you might travel!

Hello my favourite fashionistas,

It’s summer time!

Well, in most of parts of the world is – so the perfect time to talk about our favourite summer outfits that you can easily take to your favourite resorts around the world. No matter where you go, a beach resort or a city break adventure, you will find something you can wear and feel amazing in, so keep on reading.

I recently came back from a city break / beach resort getaway in Palermo, Italy and I packed practical outfits that allowed me to fully enjoy my time and feel amazing everyday. It’s a skill that took a long time to master (trust me haha), but I just feel that this time, I didn’t pack stuff that I didn’t wear. I’ll show you my everyday outfits that I used to wear at beach and around the city. Let’s get into it.

City break outfit

I can’t explain how easy it is to move around in this outfit! What I love most about it is the cute aspect of it. The ribbon on my Reserved shoes and the silk material of the River Island top, makes the outfit ‘flow’ nicely on the narrow streets of Palermo while enjoying a cannoli and a glass of Aperol Spritz. No wonder my favourite country is Italy! MY TIP: Wear a hat in case the sun is strong – I swear by a hat as this one was super helpful for keeping any headaches away!

Long pants? African inspired shirt? I’m all about that! To be honest, I’ve worn these Zara pants with a swim suit, a crop top and many other combos throughout my time there. So, I think they can go as my top worn item!

The perfect shorts

OMG! These are the comfiest shorts I have! They are so cool and go with pretty much anything. Here, I chose to pair them with a polka dot top (both H&M) and high wedges (New Look)!

White

We wouldn’t be girls if we wouldn’t borrow something from our boyfriends! And his white Zara shirt makes the best beach dress!

You can find the items in the mentioned stores except from the pink blouse and reserved dress which I purchased in Reserved Germany.

Hope you enjoyed taking a look at the outfits and please share with me your holiday looks at @missandradavonc. I’m super curious! Have a wonderful time on holiday!

Hello there,

Have you decided on your next city break? Or are you still browsing through the latest offers? Either way, now is the best time to scan your wardrobe and decide on which pieces will make it to the trip with you. We will have a look at what you need to pack to look fierce while on your break! No loads of items needed and no huge luggages!

I find it very useful when I can change my outfit from day to night by only changing certain accessories. As there are a million different options you can try, today I will show you the most up to date thing I do. STAY TUNED!

Let’s take for instance a pair of white shorts

Basic, right? They will be the base for your outfits!

City Break Day Time Outfit

During the day you need something comfortable, thinking that you would probably be digging into the city’s most beautiful treasures for the whole time. Just to make it clear, comfortable doesn’t mean lounge wear OR super sporty. People take comfortable clothes way too literally! A really nice top will be perfect for this (..aaand I didn’t say T-shirt). I have chosen a black Zara top that feels comfortable and also looks amazing in those Instagram pictures.

Night Time Outfit for Your City Break

If you’re going out for dinner or going for a night stroll, you want to look cool! While the shorts and boots are still your best friends, it is now time to change your top and add a scarf. I went for a super boho jumper I’ve found in New Look last week. Ready for taking the city!
