Three ways to style your curls? I’ve came across this wonderful curling iron from Philips that enables me to create more curly hair looks at once! Let’s have a look at my favourite easy to do hairstyles with only one device.

More looks, just one hair curling iron – sounds good, right? I’ve been on a hunt for a big barrel hair wand, but haven’t really spent time to research a good one…until last week.

I was sitting at my desk looking for new inspiration. I was thinking to cut my hair. But that would only mean I’d have to wait for it to grow back again (to a medium size). So, I was wondering, ‘What could I do instead?’. Then, I remembered my old advice! Just try a new hairstyle! If you’re looking for new ways to style your hair too, you’re in the right place.

I’ve became obsessed with this Phillips Philips StyleCare BHB868/00 curling iron to the point that I’m using it almost everyday because it gives me that look of effortless curls. I’m showing you three ways to style your curls, so that you won’t get bored of your looks.

Turn on the curling iron by pressing the round button and set it to your desired temperature – I usually go with 200 Celsius degrees.

Voluminous Curls

Next, to get voluminous curls, start curling your hair using the curling iron as a curling wand. Make sure to diversify the sizes of the pieces of hair you’re curling.

After you finish curling your whole hair, use your hands to give volume to your hair. Moreover, brush your curls and you can enjoy beautiful Hollywood curls.

Bobby Pinned Curls

This look makes me think of beautiful princesses of the 18th century. Such an innocent and feminine look. Perfect for Spring that’s about to come (thank God). To achieve this, you only need one bobby pin. Choose two pieces of hair from the front and secure them together at the back using the bobby pin.

The end result? Simple & elegant.

Half Ponytail

Khloe K vibes anyone? This must be my favourite look. I often use this hairstyle when I’m working out – it just puts me in the right mood. Furthermore, to get the look, you need to section the upper part of your hair and tie it with a hair band. That’s it!

Voilaaaaaa

Let’s do this! Show me your looks on Instagram – tag me @notagirlygal so I can see your beautiful creations.

Hi lovely girls,

Hope you’re having a great end of the week. Today, we’re looking at how to treat hair in winter because let’s be honest, it can be quite a challenge as your hair meets low temperatures, tends to have less volume and gets to fall so much quicker.

Stylist’s Tip

Recently, I’ve visited my stylist at the Stage Door and she recommended that in winter, it’s essential that we apply nourishing masks to keep hair hydrated, but also to use coconut / Argan oil on both the scalp and hair length for maintaining it healthy.

I recently discovered the L’Oreal Professionel range and I couldn’t be happier with the effect it has on my hair. If you have hair that gets greasy easily, then the L’Oréal Professionnel Serie Expert Pure Resource would be your saviour. As the shampoo purifies your hair, it can get a little bit dry after you rinse it with water. To avoid dry hair and as the expert suggested, I recommend using a nourishing mask at least twice a week.

My favourite mask this season? It has to be the Gold Quinoa + Protein by L’Oreal Professionel. I left it on for 5 minutes and my hair felt super soft even the next day – I don’t usually feel a certain softness to my hair after using masks, but this time, it’s definitely different. If you’re looking for your next IT product, I couldn’t recommend this one enough. Such a treat for your hair this winter – just look at the shine!

Extra help for thin hair?

I lost quite a lot of hair this season, so I’ve decided to step up my game and strengthen the quality of the thread. It was my first time that I actually used a leave in treatment for my scalp. I’ve started noticing changes since the second application and I couldn’t be happier! The roller improves blood circulation that makes hair grow faster as well, so it’s a win win situation for those who are patiently waiting for their hair to grow.

Let’s all have healthy hair this season and get our goodies at a wonderful price from Notino. Check out their L’oreal Paris range too – you won’t regret it.

What your favourite way to keep your hair healthy during colder months?

Lots of love,

Andrada
