Hello there summer lovers,

Have you started packing for your holiday yet, or are you at the booking stage now? Either way, don’t forget to throw in your bag an absolute gem of an outfit that will make you feel incredible and look like you’re ready to have the best time in the burning sun. You’re in the perfect place because I’m now sharing one Summer outfit that you need to wear on next holiday.

What do you think about ruffles in general? But what about ruffles on holiday? I have to say, I’m a huge huge believer in ruffles and statement blouses. They can make up an outfit in seconds. I absolutely adore wearing special items and I can’t believe how quickly I can create new styles using blouses in different textures and fabrics.

For this look, I went for a white top that goes so well with high waist jeans. The top shows cleavage without showing too much. You can go for different colours or keep it simple in white. Find my top here. The jeans I’m wearing are actually my mother’s (authentic mum’s jeans here) that a designer friend of mine helped me rip. I’m absolutely positive that you can find a pair in your mother’s wardrobe or find a really cool pair in a vintage boutique.

Don’t forget about wearing accessories – it’s a go hard or go homie, know what I mean?

I went for a beautiful pair of earrings that my friend Adriana kindly gifted me. They’re just making the whole look more interesting, find similar here. You can easily create different summer outfits for your holiday if you have the right accessories to hand. Go through your jewellery chest now and pick at least three pairs of earrings, two bracelets and some rings. You’ll then lay your accessories and outfits on your bed and start playing mix & match. Fun guaranteed.

To complete the outfit, I choose this gold belt which I pretty much wear with everything (even as I’m typing this – with a different outfit because the weather is bad again, surprise surprise!). You can find similar here.

Shoes wise, I began to wear low heeled shoes and I feel amazing. My combat boots no longer stay with me everyday of the year. I picked a special pair of red sandals I found in a shop in Bordeaux called Etam. You can find a similar pair here if you live somewhere else in Europe or the States.

Wear this beautiful outfit on rooftops, at beach parties or anywhere you want to make a statement during your holiday. This outfit makes me think of myself in Spain or Latin America drinking Sangria on the beach watching the sunset with Andrei, especially when worn with a red lipstick on. So, if they’re on your bucket list, you know what to wear on your next holiday.

Don’t forget to subscribe to my email list by clicking on the right hand column and keep up with more summer outfits to come. I’m currently preparing some more beautiful outfits and I can’t wait for you to see them and start wearing them.

With all the holiday talk, I forgot to ask, where are you going on holiday this summer?

Lots of love,

Hello there my girls,

As you’ve probably seen I have traveled a lot this summer and I mean A LOT. As I write this, I am getting ready for my next getaway to a destination that is close to my heart – the place where I turned 22 last year!

Now, as I’m used to packing and figuring out exactly what I need before I get there, I thought to put together my summer essentials.

1. The Summer Dress – Dresses won my heart this season and I’m loving the idea! Not that I’ve discovered the wheel or anything, but they are so easy to wear.  Why didn’t I get into them earlier?! Because I did not know how to mix them to fit my personality: if I wear a dress, I will wear it with boots or striped sandals. This Embroided Striped Zara Dress is just perfect for me.  I find this style trés chic, but you can choose any dress that makes you feel happy & free.

2.  Colourful Bag – I’ve had this Ralph Lauren bag since last Autumn, but I haven’t brought it out my closet that much. Now, I’m in love with it – even more than I did when I first got it. Strange right? I feel that a colour bag is amazing for summer – it gives me energy and adds on to my mood when I’m not feeling that positive.

3.   Straw Hat – This comes as a necessity rather than just an accessory. You need to wear a hat during these sunny days, especially if you’re travelling to a hot country. Believe me, this H&M Straw Hat saved me from many headaches and heat strokes.

 4.   Sandals – Probably, the best trend of all summers: lace sandals! Girl, these Zara ones are so sexy (you can tie them around your leg)! Needless to say, you’re probably wearing sandals in summer and you’d be better with these low heeled ones if you live in a big city or travel around!

  5.  Thermal Spring Water – One of my must haves for the season is a thermal spring water face spray! I mean, it’s so refreshing and keeps my skin hydrated. Check out this one by La Roche-Posay.

Have you seen my tips on the most Instagramable outfits for this summer?

Until next time,

Hello girls,

Who’s ready for some holiday vibes? Hands down Italy is my favourite holiday destination in Europe: delicious food, great culture, amazing architecture and awesome scenery. Did I mention the narrow streets? If I didn’t just yet watch the video to explore them with me. Let’s see what things you could do to enjoy every minute of your holiday – and I’m not talking about staying on the beach reading a holiday book.

How to get there

I’ve included this section because if you’re not doing this already, I think it’s important to consider it. When you’re booking your flights, you want to make sure the onward journey will allow you for an extra day of holiday: getting to your hotel around check-in time (usually midday) is perfect. You would then have half a day to catch some rays as well and also quickly get the feel of the place, check out what you could do in the next days (cool places to eat at, hire quads, go dancing on a beach club). This time, we went for a late check in as we stayed in Palermo city for one night and the next day at lunch time, we went to our Domina Zagarella Resort in Santa Flavia.

Must do

Must do in Sicily: boat trips!

You have to go on a boat trip. We had lunch on the boat cooked my a local person, and then we dived in a golf – the water was a bit cold but it was so worth it.

Must eat & drink

Arancini and Red Wine! They are rice balls filled with ham and cheese – YUM!

Hope you enjoyed and got you inspired for your next trip!

Until next time,

Hello my favourite fashionistas,

It’s summer time!

Well, in most of parts of the world is – so the perfect time to talk about our favourite summer outfits that you can easily take to your favourite resorts around the world. No matter where you go, a beach resort or a city break adventure, you will find something you can wear and feel amazing in, so keep on reading.

I recently came back from a city break / beach resort getaway in Palermo, Italy and I packed practical outfits that allowed me to fully enjoy my time and feel amazing everyday. It’s a skill that took a long time to master (trust me haha), but I just feel that this time, I didn’t pack stuff that I didn’t wear. I’ll show you my everyday outfits that I used to wear at beach and around the city. Let’s get into it.

City break outfit

I can’t explain how easy it is to move around in this outfit! What I love most about it is the cute aspect of it. The ribbon on my Reserved shoes and the silk material of the River Island top, makes the outfit ‘flow’ nicely on the narrow streets of Palermo while enjoying a cannoli and a glass of Aperol Spritz. No wonder my favourite country is Italy! MY TIP: Wear a hat in case the sun is strong – I swear by a hat as this one was super helpful for keeping any headaches away!

Long pants? African inspired shirt? I’m all about that! To be honest, I’ve worn these Zara pants with a swim suit, a crop top and many other combos throughout my time there. So, I think they can go as my top worn item!

The perfect shorts

OMG! These are the comfiest shorts I have! They are so cool and go with pretty much anything. Here, I chose to pair them with a polka dot top (both H&M) and high wedges (New Look)!

We wouldn’t be girls if we wouldn’t borrow something from our boyfriends! And his white Zara shirt makes the best beach dress!

You can find the items in the mentioned stores except from the pink blouse and reserved dress which I purchased in Reserved Germany.

Hope you enjoyed taking a look at the outfits and please share with me your holiday looks at @missandradavonc. I’m super curious! Have a wonderful time on holiday!
