I decided to put together this Winter Gift Guide, so you can take a little bit of inspiration and relax knowing that there’s something you can gift to everyone this Christmas 🙂

Usually, many people are overthinking gift making and feel a certain pressure when browsing through endless items. Well, if there’s one thing you should know about me is that I’m quite a good gift maker (if I say this myself haha).

The winter season is magical in every way. From Christmas movies to mulled wine and snowy cities. Honestly, I’ve always loved winter. However, although there are so many reasons to feel energised, sometimes the simple fact that you can’t choose the right gift for those around you can add a certain pressure on you. Usually, many people are overthinking gift making. Well, if there’s one thing you should know about me is that I’m quite a good gift maker (if I say this myself haha).

The Recipe for a Perfect Christmas Gift

Before jumping into the content, there are three things you should remember when thinking of the perfect gift:

  • It must come from the heart. If when you look at it, you feel joy and happiness, image how happy the receiver would be.
  • Try to make it personalised or ensure that person absolutely loves the theme of your gift!
  • Never buy a gift just for the sake of buying. Don’t buy something just because it’s Christmas and never say ‘I didn’t know what to get you’. That will totally take away the magic.

Get ready for some Winter Fashion Trends 2022! When it comes to the Holiday season, there’s a lot to look forward to: Christmas, New Year’s Eve, but also finding out what’s trending this season.

From fuzzy hats, to moon boots and trench coats, I can’t wait to explore the exciting Winter Fashion Trends 2022.

1. 90’s Denim

Denim came back in trend a while ago. However, this year the big fashion houses have stopped trying to adapt jeans for today and have started releasing 90’s jeans instead.

It’s such a must have this winter. Denim jeans can be styled for many looks. You can be stylish, trashy or even classy. It’s all about how you want to accessorise your outfit.

A cool styling idea for 90’s jeans is to get a fur coat on top. Not only will you become Carrie Bradshaw for a day, but you’ll feel like a true New Yorker in a hurry. Fashionable, yet cosy! 😉

2. Geometric shapes

Triangles, squares, rectangles and alternative lines. These are just some of the geometric shapes that are part of Winter Fashion Trends 2022. We’ve noticed that this year, many designers are opting for prints showing geometric shapes. These prints are placed on t-shirts, jeans, shirts, but most often on jackets be it long coats or trench coats.

You will feel creative, fashionable and different! I think that’s the main reason why I love this trend.

You can wear geometric prints in absolutely any circumstance and you will absolutely have confidence that you’re fashionable!

3. Glam it up

Feathers, fringe, pearls, diamonds and chains. These are just a few of the accessories you can find on dresses and garments. Glam is back. Get ready to tackle plenty of extravagant and eccentric outfits, because 2022 is the perfect year. Both high end and low end brands are adapting! We can find lace, satin, corset and sequin dresses among the hangers. Who knows?

4. Faux Leather

From trousers to vests, dresses and jackets, leather garments are an absolute Winter Fashion Trend 2022. The thing I love most when it comes to clothing pieces made from leather is the attitude they help you adopt. I suppose everyone feels like they can achieve anything when they wear faux leather. Besides, when you add leather to your outfit you will give it an expensive and very stylish look. Isn’t that amazing?

5. Office Wear

I suppose this trend came about because of people who simply want to dress up and go back to work. I love how all women have started wearing men’s suits and adapting them for their tastes and needs. Thus, suits in 2022 are sexy, empowering and more. Are you ready to rock this years fashion trends in high heels and sexy suits? You might struggle to keep motivated during 2021. Months have flown by and here we are in November 2021. Just a little longer and we can leave behind another year full of memories, ups and downs, love and more. It may seem hard not to be nostalgic or on the contrary, you can’t wait for a new beginning.

So the question is: How do you stay motivated for the remaining months? Well, the answer you’re seeking hides in this article.

Read on to learn how to get through the season of change with flying colours. Are you ready?


One of the main things that will help you stay motivated is to think back on your year. Find an area where you did well and remind yourself of every accomplishment you’ve enjoyed. It may sound silly, but it’s very healthy to remember all of your successes. That way, you don’t need other people to tell you: “you can do it”. After all, you have living proof. Your results are the best example that can prove to you that you are really good.

So, sit down and get ready to take a look back at 2021. Imagine all the things you have achieved. Nothing else is going to give you a bigger boost of confidence and perseverance. Don’t you believe me?! Well, it’s up to you to try it and let me know afterwards 😉

Get your motivation from other places

If you feel you can’t motivate yourself now, try looking for motivation in other places. For example in books, films, documentaries. Often, when people see a film where the main character is persistent and works very hard to achieve their dream, they tend to get a boost of ambition in return.

It’s normal not to feel like yourself all the time. Besides, 2021 was not an easy year at all. So it’s a great idea to find your motivation to finish it strong. I recommend you to take some time for yourself, try not to stress for a few days and focus your attention on finding or maintaining your motivation. Look for a good film or read a great book and learn from the experiences of characters.

Review your goals regularly

As you know, ambition comes and goes. That’s why it’s recommended to make a planner where you write down all your goals. A good exercise is to review them regularly so that you can remember what you are actually working towards. You need to remember how many steps you have taken so far. Besides, a planner will help you organise your professional life in a constructive way.

I believe that as long as you constantly remember your dream, the motivation will not disappear. Think that in just two months you can reinvent yourself and start a much better year!


Sounds funny, I know. But, one of the best ways that will help you keep motivated during 2021 is to force yourself to smile more. Morning, noon and night. You have to smile. A great exercise is when you walk past mirrors to smile at yourself. Never mind that you might actually want to cry. People can trick their brains into thinking they’re happy if they smile constantly.

Happiness in turn brings a big dose of motivation. That’s why it’s also important to be in a good mental state when you work and seek to achieve your goals. If you ever have difficulty simply pretending, I happen to have an idea that can help you out. Stick a few post-its with encouraging quotes and compliments on your bathroom vanity. That way, every day you’ll start your morning smiling.

Surround yourself with positivity

In order to keep motivated during 2021, you’ll have to surround yourself with positivity. Thus, you have to cut off all people who bring malice and negativity into your life. You have to put yourself first and realise that the law of attraction is real. Manifest and try to think positively every day.

As long as you continue to believe that everything is possible, no one can stop you. You don’t need people who wish you harm and only want to demoralise you. What you have to do is to stay close to the people you love and who love you back.

All things considered, it’s not that hard to keep motivated during 2021, right? It’s time to improve your life and to step up your game.

Self improvement is when you want to constantly grow and improve your current habits or traits. We’re definitely not perfect, so it’s important to focus on ourselves to achieve our ultimate goals. Health should come FIRST

If you want to improve your life, you should first take good care of your health. Considering how the weather can change during Autumn, the risks of getting a cold are pretty high. Drinking herbal hot tea can be a good habit for you.

Tea will help you boost your immune system, can fight against heart diseases and even reduce inflammations. Therefore, a cup of tea everyday will be your best friend during this season of change. Take some time off and just relax while drinking this herbal beverage.

Improve your knowledge

The thirst of knowledge will help you improve different aspects of your life. You can either read books, watch documentaries or even play games. It all depends on how you want to spend your time. As long as you train your mind to seek information, you will always find new things to learn.

It is said that the more you know, you’ll realise that you don’t actually know anything. You don’t know what you don’t know. And I live by that. Every topic in this world will help you at a time. Therefore, this Autumn can be a new start for your self improvement journey.

Start journaling

Journaling is so wonderful. The power of reflection you have when journaling can make you aware of countless things about your daily life. Just sit down and write what you feel in a journal.

There may be things you could never say out loud, but you can write them down to free yourself from them. I’m sure that once you start journaling, it will become a very productive habit for you.

Autumn make-up. What’s trending this season? Velvety skin, as natural as it can be, pink blush and nude eye shadow – are all beauty trends that I love right now.

Compared to last years, this Fall is all about ROCKING that ‘no make-up make-up’. Something you can wear at home, in comfortable clothes while reading a book, but also at the office. For me a natural makeup will always win over a full face one. But it depends on everyone’s tastes in the end.

1. Pink/Red blush

A touch of pink will brighten up your whole face during a cold Autumn day. You can choose not to use foundation. Apply a small amount of concealer under your eyes and blend it carefully. Next choose your favourite blush. I personally prefer the pink shade for my cheeks. It brightens up your complexion and brings a touch of natural beauty.

Try to use a mousse blush for this – it works wonders! Apply it to the cheekbones – and Gigi Hadid’s trick is to actually apply a little bit on the sides of your forehead too – just like Jess did it in the first picture above. For final touch-ups, you can use mascara and a translucent brow gel.

2. Lips

Lips are a very important part of the final look. If you choose a bold contour and a dark colour, you can be provocative or mysterious. A pink lip gloss, on the other hand, will make you look more natural and feminine.

For a trending Autumnal look, play around with lipstick shades – from dark ones to more natural ones (lip pencils became my best friends). On your face, use a little concealer, contour, blush and a bit of highlighter. That way, the make-up you wear will be more natural and all the attention will be drawn to your sexy lips. This time, lipstick will be the STAR.

3. Brown on the waterline

Earth tones are really on trend lately, aren’t they? Well, besides brown jackets, sweaters, trousers and scarves, make-up artists now love to use brown shades when it comes to make-up. Just like I mentioned in the previous paragraphs, natural makeup is a trend this year. However, a little colour here and there never hurts.

Pick your favorite brown pencil and outline your waterline. Then apply a little colour under the eyes too. Spread the colour under your eyes with a thin brush. These are the steps to a natural makeup look that will make your eyes stand out. Brown compliments all eye colours, so this trend is suitable for everyone who wants to try it.

3. Pumpkin spice and everything nice

Orange can make any colour of eyes stand out. That’s why this Fall more and more people are wearing orange eyeshadow. Not only does it blend amazing with the whole Fall landscape, but it also fits in with the style of clothes being worn in 2021. Simple, yet affective, this look is one of my favourites.

You can add some highlighter here and there. By the way, I don’t think it would hurt to draw freckles either. I did that for the first time this Summer and I am hooked!

4. Bold red

Red lipstick will always be a classic. One of the trendiest combinations this season is eyebrow gel and red lipstick. Red is a colour that represents elegance and femininity. You can wear this everywhere! However, I personally love how red lips looks for events or when I go out in the evening.

I actually prefer liquid lipstick – the Sephora Liquid Lipstain and Jeffrey Star’s Liquid Lipsticks. You can use any type you like – for matte lipstick I can recommend Anastasia Beverly Hills. Also, remember to draw your lips. Your make-up should be simple and natural with a great emphasis on the bold lips.

5. Green smokey

When it comes to Autumn make-up, I find this mossy green eyeshadow very fun. It perfectly fits with the whole idea of coziness. It can even be messy. Apply the eyeshadow to your eyelid and complete your look with black mascara. For a bolder look, you can also add a touch of black on the waterline. Your eyes will stand out. Besides, your whole look will be messy casual with a hint of tomboyishness. Be creative but comfortable at the same time.

I find well-being tips extremely important in times like these. During this pandemic, you need to take extra good care of yourself. Paying attention to your health and well-being should be one of your top priorities. Follow my well-being tips and make a good change for yourself this Autumn. Are you ready to embark on this journey of self development?

About well-being

Health is the most precious thing you can have – after I was in and our of hospital last month with my allergic reaction, I’m becoming even more aware of this. If you think about it, all the money in the world can’t buy you your health. Of course, they can improve it. However, the time you spend taking care of yourself can improve not only your physical health, but also your mental health.

Sometimes, you have to put your problems aside and realise that your body is your temple. As long as you maintain the health of this temple, it will be much easier to achieve success. Cultivate yourself, exercise, seek knowledge and take a moment to relax. All these exercises will improve your productivity, creativity and ultimately your determination. You’ll succeed in everything you set out to do as long as you take care of yourself!

1. Candle therapy

Scented candles are indeed therapeutic. Their scent can gently induce a state of relaxation and comfort. Now that the holiday season is approaching, I for one love the winter themed scents. Besides, the beautiful atmosphere you can create with the help of candles, they can also bring a lot of comfort. For example, prepare a bubble bath and instead of leaving the light on, you can opt for an opaque candlelight.

Also, I’ve got a trick for you. Instead of lighting a dozen candles, place one or two of them in front of your bathroom mirror. Their light will spread throughout the room. That way, you can take the evening off and just relax. This month, I’ve finally tried the raved about scented candles from Bath & Body Works.

Made with essential oils, their scent is very strong indeed – you only need one candle and the scent will be spread through your entire space. Plus, you don’t need to light them for long! I honestly love this effect because I don’t need to change my candles so often and I get to enjoy some incredible winter scents – Frozen Lake and Winter Vanilla are my go to now!

2. Pumpkin Spice

For many people, baking is a form of relaxation. It can train your attention and patience. It also gives you the opportunity to spend time with yourself. You can use that time to meditate, listen to a self-development workshop or to your all time favourite tunes. With Autumn coming, I can’t stop thinking about pies or brownies.

You can search for a beginner recipe and who knows, maybe you’ll find a new hobby. After baking, your mind will be much more relaxed and ready to come back with new ideas and initiatives. Besides, the end result may bring a smile not only on your face, but also on the faces of your loved ones who are going to taste the delicious cake you baked.

3. Face masks

Let’s have a spa day at home. Well, I personally love pampering. Not only do I love preparing my own face masks, but I love the way they manage to relax me in just 15 minutes. Although I’m a down-to-earth person, on hard days at work my thoughts fly left and right in the evening. Which is why I love to give myself a little attention.

You can make face masks out of almost anything, literally. So, find some time to spare and use it with the goal of improving both your complexion and your mindset.

4. Seek knowledge

Well, this is one of my favorite activities. I’ll admit, I’m a bit of a history buff. That’s why I love gathering knowledge about this field. I watch documentaries and read books related to my favorite historical topics. I debate with myself and try to improve my perspective all the time. Whenever I have a little free time, I use it to become a better version of myself.

This is really one of the most important well-being tips I will offer you. Always seek knowledge! It is so important to have the ability to have a discussion in which you support your point of view. And last but not least, to be able to consider yourself a well-read and informed person. That’s why it’s time to choose a good book or documentary and enrich your general knowledge! It will help you enormously in the future.

5. Meditation

Meditation will help you put your thoughts in order, find inner peace and control your emotions. It is a technique that has been used for thousands of years and if done correctly, it does not fail.

Breathe in. Breathe out. Find a private place and sit in meditation pose. Clear your mind and prepare to contemplate on your life. You need to set a slow pace and focus on your breath. Clear your negative thoughts and find inner peace. Meditation is your best friend when it comes to self development in terms of the psyche. You need to be deep and start to understand how your thoughts and feelings really work. But once you master the art of meditation, you will become a better version of yourself.

All things considered, these well-being tips might seem quite obvious. However, I want to remind you how important they are in order to become the person you’ve always wanted to be. The power is in your hands, dear. Use it wisely.

First of all, fashion and emotions have always been somehow connected. I think fashion is one of the most common ways of expressing ourselves. Everyone fits into a certain Fashion Pattern. Depending on the music you listen to, the films you enjoy watching, the books you read, you can easily define your personal style. For example, some people prefer colourful outfits and others prefer all black outfits. In fact, some people dress in the specific style of certain eras (the 00’s, the 90’s …).

The point is that once you find your style, your self-confidence will start to grow. Why? It’s simple, you’ll feel like yourself. As long as you feel good and find pieces of yourself in your outfits, your self-confidence and positive vibe will come naturally.

Finding your style might sound difficult. However, the journey itself is unforgettable. Start with creating a mood board using different inspirational pictures. As Lady Gaga said, you have to hold your head up high and walk like the whole world is your runaway ! Walking can make a tremendous difference to the way people look at you. If you’re surrounded by people who look at you with admiration, your self-confidence will boost.

As for fashion and how it can help you – let’s talk about heels! Platforms, stilettos, wedges, peep toes, ankle straps. There are countless pairs of heels that can stand out in the crowd. For example, a pair of black stilettos will make you look elegant and classic. Your vibe will be straight out of a film noir! However, sandals and heels with interesting appliqués will bring your creativity out.

Therefore, high heels have an impact on your posture, vibe and style – they will significantly increase your confidence level.

Having a problem with colours?

Many people tend to feel quite insecure while wearing colours. If you happen to fit into this category, these pieces of advice are for you. Neutral colours such as white, black, nude are not only easier to accessorise and match but they might help you with your confidence. It’s a fact that most of the people tend to feel more like themselves and to be confident while wearing black for example. Considering that I’m a women empowerment blogger, my suggestion for you is to chose the colours that make you feel empowered.

However, put on red heels or lipstick in order to make a statement. Red mixed with black will always be a classic and elegant option. You literally have so many options when it comes to silk dresses. I absolutely love how well they can make your body look. There are also many styles you can try with silk dresses. For example, you can wear a long sleeved top underneath and also cover yourself up with a trench coat. I’ve also seen lots of influencers and celebrities that love wearing knee high boots with long silk dresses. You’ll look absolutely stunning and fashionable and your fit will also still be warm enough for the colder days that are yet to come 🙂

I believe dark green looks amazing in the Fall landscape and it’s also a fun & different colour option for a blazer. Elegant and really classy, a blazer will complete your look anytime during Autumn. You can go for a casual fit and style it with jeans and a plain t-shirt. Also, a blazer goes amazing with office trousers and heels. So many options, right?

Also, if you ever decide buying this piece, you won’t have to worry about finding your statement piece because this is the one. You can literally wear an all black outfit and still look very trendy if you decide to put a blazer on. What do you think about this?

Loafers are still trending this season. If you ever feel tired to wear heels, but still want to have an elegant look, loafers are your best option. You can style them with most of your office clothes. They look amazing with trousers but also with jeans. Personally, I like how leather loafers look whilst paired with a trench coat – the most Parisian look ever. Put your red lipstick on and be the powerful woman you are.

9. Tweed skirts ❤️

Chanel set the tone a few years back and showed us the elegance and beauty of tweed skirts. For example, the this red skirt’s fabric is perfect for Autumn. It will keep you warm as much as a skirt can. Personally, I love how confident can the red colour make a woman look. Your fit will be in the spotlight, I promise!

When it comes to skirts, you can also chose either an elegant or a casual look. Remember that it’s up to you and the place you’re heading to!

Well, of course I had to mention corsets. These are like the trendiest pieces this Fall. You can wear them with suits, like in the example above. Also, you can style them with casual and even baggy jeans if you’re going for a simple and comfortable look. These pieces go well with everything and they are a statement piece you need to have this fall!

Self development is an amazing thing to focus on. After all, you should do your best to improve YOUR life. Do you happen to feel like making a decision is hard and you get lost during the process?

Trust me, we all have dark thoughts from time to time. Being emotional and feeling overwhelmed is completely normal. However, I’m here to help you as much as I can because I’ve also been through what you’re feeling right now.

Well, I’m here to give you my best pieces of advice when it comes to decision making. Are you ready to embark on this amazing journey?

What does the decision-making process actually mean?

Everyone has to make certain decisions during their lifetime. The process itself is called the decision making process.

It is very important that during this so-called ritual to have a clear mind, to be able to concentrate and to be aware that you have to weigh what your mind tells you and what your heart tells you.

To follow your mind or your heart?

As I have already said in the previous paragraph, a balance must be created between your mind heart. Your heart and your spirit are the things that differentiate you from a robot. Having your own feelings, preferences and fears will influence you a lot in making a decision.

On the other hand, it is important that the situation itself is also passed through the filters of your mind. Why? you ask.

Well, the mind plays a very important role in this process. You need to be aware of the consequences your decision will cause. Calculate carefully the situation you are placed in.

How’s it looking so far?

About attention and concentration

Although people often make good decisions while they are stressed or in a hurry, my advice is for you to focus a little on the decision you are about to make.

You don’t have to rush into a decision, but at the same time you don’t have to think too much either. You will now have to balance things again. If you focus all your attention and time on the decision you are about to make, you will end up missing the point.

Find some free time, try not to panic and clear your mind. Before long, you’ll be able to make a decision. To make your job easier, the whole process can take place in a private, safe and quiet place.

Don’t be afraid of a bad decision

You know what they say, bad decisions make good stories! All kidding aside now. Never be afraid of a bad decision. After all, you did what you thought was right at the time. Everyone makes mistakes. Besides, those “mistakes” will help you in the future. You will know what to adjust in your life and how to look at certain situations differently.

I can say that I have also made a lot of bad decisions. With time, I understood I didn’t have to feel guilty anymore. I learned that I needed to be more careful and focus on my own self-development.

The point is, now that I know that everything is going to take a turn for the better at some point: I am absolutely not afraid of the process of making a decision anymore.

Taking everything into consideration, with a little self-confidence, focus and balance, the process of making a decision becomes simple. Put your anxiety aside and think about what’s best for your future. I think this may be the most valuable piece of advice I can give you right now.

Always remember that you never stops learning. Put your fears aside and really live.

First of all, you might be always fed perfect images of happy lives on social media. That’s why, many of us have the impression that this is how everything should be – pretty and pink. Unpleasant things happen to everyone around us. No one can have a constant smile on their lips and no one can lead a “perfect” life. Why? It’s quite simple, these “perfect” lives promoted all over social media are actually made up. Perfection in the true sense of the word does not exist. Because the truth isn’t perfect.

Therefore, you should not be guided by what others WANT to share online. You have to create your own life, with your own rules, your own desires.

In order to achieve the lifestyle you’ve always wanted to lead, you have to learn to love your own self, to take a moment and be grateful for what you are and understand that only you are responsible for your future. As long as you focus on YOU, great things will come your way.


Are you ready to step up your game and live happily? Here’s a quick worksheet for you to use when you feel that your positive view on life somehow vanished, when you can’t see the beauty in the little things and feel unmotivated to go on.

1. Be Happy with Yourself

It’s very important that you are happy with yourself. After all, nobody else lives in your shoes!

YOU will have to put YOU on the first place! Do you think you can do it? It’s not impossible, I promise!

It’s true that it can be challenging to stop trying to please everyone around us. The point is that someone will always be unhappy. It’s totally normal! You can’t be “perfect” for all the people around you! You have to really be perfect for yourself. And how do you do that?

It all starts with accepting your mindset. Once you do what you know is best for you and for the people around you and they’re still not happy, just know, that it’s on them. If your energy is good and comes from a great place and still not appreciated, I’m here to assure you, it’s really not your problem.

2. Find Joy in Every Single Day

The key to living happily is to find joy in the beauty of simple moments. There are so many valuable things that you could be enjoying on a daily basis … all you need is time and energy to do so. If time is your problem, we’re going to look at that in the worksheet and identify ways in which you could be spending more time doing the things you love. Most of the times, the answers are just in front of you. All you need is some headspace to plan your days so that your schedule doesn’t control you, but the other way around 🙂

3. Focus on the present

Although you were also you in the past, you are different in the present. Makes sense, doesn’t it? The point is that maybe you made certain decisions in the past and stuck to them. You keep going back to what you did and keep blaming yourself. Well, it’s time to stop. People grow up, they mature. You may think you’re the same person, but you’re not. Change is constant in your life. With every word spoken, decision made and action taken we and our perceptions change.

It’s time to focus on the present. It is very important to live in the moment! And this is impossible if you live in the past. It’s quite simple really. In order to discover yourself, it is important to be able to live in the present. That’s the bottom line.
