To have the ability to adapt to changes faster, to build your confidence, and to have a sustainable growth in your self-improvement journey, you need to invest in yourself.

The energy you put into the process of investing in yourself will determine the quality of your life and your future. It’s the surest way to achieve your dreams, be successful, and improve your productivity. And overall become more satisfied with your life. 

An important thing to make note of is that before starting to invest in yourself, you need to be aware of the things you wish to accomplish. Sit back, reflect on the things you have now, your attitude towards things. And then see what you have to work on in order to have the things you’ve wished for. And here are a few ways you can start to invest in yourself: 

Develop your skills | Invest in Yourself

Start working on the skills YOU need in order to make your dreams and goals a reality. Before doing so, you have to be aware of the things you need to improve. If your goal is to be given a promotion at work, you would have to reflect on your strengths and weaknesses. If the new role would be needing a persona that is proficient in Excel, and you think you might be lacking the skills, it means you would have to work a little harder on mastering it. Or if your goal in life is to be happier, you would have to see what things bring you joy and the things that don’t. Then you would have to analyse the state of your mindset. You have to see where the setbacks are and then slowly but surely work on them for improvement. To have a sense of development you must always be learning and be aware. Aware of the things that you are lacking and learning how to adapt to better approaches and circumstances. 

Nurture your mind and body | Invest in Yourself

For you to achieve what you’ve planned you need to be in the right place and mindset. This means to always check in with yourself. See how you are feeling, what are you eating, how are you moving. Seek the things that bring you joy to have the desire to move with grace in life. Move your body in a way that gives you energy and makes you want to travel the world and back. Nurture your body with the right foods, but also seek a balance. You’ve noticed when you feel good inside and out, you have a new found power that makes you feel like you can conquer everything and everyone. 

Take care of yourself

Take time to properly tend to yourself. Make sure you have a somewhat balance between work and your personal life. Sometimes that line grows thinner and we don’t see how it can affect us over time. Create a self care day for yourself. Where you reflect on the things you’ve done so far. Where you check in with yourself and see what you need to have a more fulfilling life. 

Fuel your hobbies

Sometimes we’re so swept up in our responsibilities that we forget the things that give us pleasure. We forget the hobbies we have. This is a great way to invest in yourself. By doing the things that give you pleasure, your life can be a little easier. Also, it gives you the push to further work on what you want to achieve. Like mixing work with pleasure 😉

You need to set smart goals

This makes your life much easier and it gives you the ability to truly invest in things and in yourself. Seeing exactly what you want to achieve, gives you that drive to work. Your goals need to be attainable, specific, measurable, relevant and time bound. If you decide to work on achieving a promotion, you need to make an action plan. See if the goal is relevant to your values, if it’s specific and align with your wishes. See if it’s attainable, if not see on what you need to work on to make it so. And take note of the time frame, this can help you decide if it’s worth pursuing it or not. Even so, this makes the process of investing and working on yourself, much linear and wholesome. 

Investing in yourself is truly the first step into shaping your future the way you want it. The energy you spend on bettering yourself will bring you closer to your dreams and goals. Making small, continuous improvements enables you to do more and grow more. This brings more positive opportunities and positive long-term changes. Progress means development towards an improved or a more advanced condition. It’s easy to feel stuck and not acknowledge all the great things you’ve accomplished so far.

On times when you are feeling stuck and not sure if the path you are on is right, it’s best to sit back, take a deep breath and reflect. Remember everyone moves at different paces. Where you are now might not be the same place a dear friend is at. Or vice versa. But, when you sit back and reflect on the amazing things you’ve achieved, what should you focus on? Here are 5 signs you’re making progress in life:

You start to accept failure

You’re no longer scared to fail – actually, you’re eager to see what failure can teach you. This is one of the main indicators that development is happening. Embrace the chance of failure when you try something new. Welcome learning with open arms. 

You have a new sense of confidence | Progress

You’re no longer afraid to try new things and approaches. Apart from not seeing failure as your number one enemy, you now have the confidence to tackle new challenges. Even if you don’t have all the resources when approaching new things you are confident in your strengths and you are sure that somehow things will work out for the better. And you embrace change wholeheartedly.

The future makes more sense | Progress

Your future doesn’t seem so foggy now. You are in charge of your goals and dreams. And you are starting to work on them. You don’t have that feeling of an uncertain future. You made your action plan and you are slowly working towards achieving your dreams. Even if you are moving at a slower pace sometimes, that’s also an improvement. And it shows that you are consistent and certain about what you want in life. 

You are more positive and healthy

Another important indicator of making progress in life is your mood and your health. You are making healthier choices, and you are moving your body more. And you are not criticizing yourself. Actually you are viewing yourself on a positive note. Your mindset is on a positive note. You surround yourself with positive people and experiences, and you take pleasure in life. 

You are willing to sit back and reflect

If you’ve made it so far, it means you are truly making progress. You are on the right path of self-development. Even when you are feeling stuck you have the power to sit back and reassess the path you are on. And reflect on what actions you took and what led you to feeling stuck. This means you acknowledge your thoughts and feelings and situations and you seek to learn from them. Because every thought, feeling and situation is telling you something and you are willing to actually sit back and listen. 

Little steps, daily actions, the willingness to never stop and a focused mindset are what keeps you working towards your dreams. Celebrate even the smallest moments and achievements. This will make you more happy with the path you are on, and will give you that extra push to move forward. 

An important thing to always remember is that no matter where you are in your journey, you have to move forward. Stop looking at what other people are doing and just focus on what you want in life and your happiness. No one will give you these things, YOU have to search for them and work on them. No one can show you the right way to self-development, but you can take inspiration from other people and assess what aligns with your mission and values.

Standing in your power is the process of personal growth. The journey to tap into your power and dive in it is to ultimately experience your own sense of self-worth. 

To stand in your power is to choose to not play small in the face of fear, uncertainty, failure or rejection. You need to choose curiosity, maturity, and create a sense of responsibility. Deciding that you want more power might make you own up to things you were ignoring. 

To have more power and confidence in yourself, also means to examine yourself and see where you need to work on. For some time, a certain type of behavior might have served you in some way. But as you slowly shift to growth, you need to analyze and change your approaches and perspectives. 

You need to create a new sense around you, and accept that to stand in your power means people might start to react negatively. And that’s ok, you can not force positive dynamics. What is important is that you need to grow and you will grow. 

When you are living from an empowered place you are fed from within. Here’s how to step back and allow yourself to tap in and stand in your power.

Accept yourself | Stand in your power

Understanding and accepting yourself is the path to empowerment. We might be different as individuals, but we are similar in certain ways. We all want to grow and learn somehow. Accept yourself as you are, you’ll gain more strength. 

Choose yourself first

You need to choose yourself, so take care of yourself first. If you create a nurturing environment for yourself, you’ll easily grow from there. Is easier to feel empowered when you feel good about yourself, and you have confidence in yourself. 

Become the leader of your life | Stand in your power

Take back control of your life. You decide what you want to do and how you want to do it. Live the life you want and don’t let anyone dictate in your place. Do what you love and don’t let people decide for you. This is how you stand in your power and how you become empowered and confident. 

Forget the past, live in the present

Let past experiences give you clarity and show you how to learn and grow. Don’t dwell on what could have gone right or wrong. Everything you did in the past was for a reason. Always thinking of the past is not serving in any way. How can you attract abundance and feel empowered when you are always thinking about the past? How can positive opportunities choose you in the present and future if you are still stuck in the past? There is a reason it’s called the past. 

Negativity is not your friend

Negativity will never be your friend. Surrounding yourself with negative thoughts will never serve you. Try and prioritize positive outlooks in whatever you choose to do. Have the courage to accept that things will turn out okay and have the confidence to believe so.

Be intentional with what you want and who you want to be

Find out exactly what you want to be further in life and what you want to accomplish. After that acknowledgement, set intentions for yourself. Create action plans on what you want to achieve and work towards it. That’s how you stand in your power and feel empowered. 

Take ownership of your life, be you, be authentic and be real. Your true power lies within you. You have the power to create the life you want and how you want it. Start achieve everything you set your mind to. Believe in yourself and have confidence.

This week I’m talking beauty, and how can I miss talking about a face transformation with facial gua sha. Gua Sha is a type of massage that was originally used in Chinese medicine to detofixy the body. Traditionally, Gua Sha can be done to the entire body, but nowadays the focus in on the face.

Let’s break down what Gua Sha means. Gua means to stroke, or press, and Sha reffers to the redness of the skin. In ancient Chinese beauty rituals the women implemented this type of detoxifying massage to the face as well. Of course, in a much gentle fashion to promote a healthy complexion and to prevent wrinkles.

Now, facial Gua Sha is a cosmetic massage tht promotes decreas of fine lines and wrinkles. Pairing this type of massage with an oil that has certain properties gives you incredible results. The oils selected for the facial Gua Sha promote healthy cell turnover, hydration.

The strokes and pressure you need to apply to the skin, are selected based on the anatomy of the face. But how does it tone the skin? By stimulating the muscles underneath the skin.

Facial Gua Sha has numerous benefits. The most important are that it softens fine lines, decreases puffiness, heals and prevents breakouts, and gives the skin a refreshed appearance. When gliding the stone on the face and neck, you need to apply pressure that stimultes the blood vessels and encourages fresh blood to rush to the tissue.

How do I use Gua Sha?

When using facial Gua Sha, I find it it’s best to cleanse the face beforehand and apply your oil of choice of cream. Your skin needs to be slippery so that the jade tool can glide smoothly without causing irritation or harming the skin.

First, you start by using the wider concave side of your tool. Start at the base of one of the sides of your neck, pulling it up, towards your jaw. Repeat this a few times and do the same on the other side of your neck. Move to the front of your neck, making the same upward movement

Then, with the smaller partin your Gua Sha, start scraping from the center of your chin. Scrape it along your jawline, going towards the bottom of your ears. Again, repeat a few times, and move to the other side.

After this, with flatter curve, scrape from the center of your face and massage the cheeks. Repeat a few times, preferably 5 times, and move to the other side. Use the small rounded end of your tool to massage the area under your eyes, pulling it towards the temples. Place the tool against your forehead with the largest curve, and gently pull it up towards your hairline.

Finally, repeat each movement at least 5 times before moving on with your regular skincare routine. Do this religiously and see a massive transformation in your skin. You’ll see that your complexion will look healthier, your face will depuff easily after a few Gua Sha swipes. And the most important part, your fine lines as well as wrinkles will decrease. From fuzzy hats, to moon boots and trench coats, I can’t wait to explore the exciting Winter Fashion Trends 2022.

1. 90’s Denim

Denim came back in trend a while ago. However, this year the big fashion houses have stopped trying to adapt jeans for today and have started releasing 90’s jeans instead.

It’s such a must have this winter. Denim jeans can be styled for many looks. You can be stylish, trashy or even classy. It’s all about how you want to accessorise your outfit.

A cool styling idea for 90’s jeans is to get a fur coat on top. Not only will you become Carrie Bradshaw for a day, but you’ll feel like a true New Yorker in a hurry. Fashionable, yet cosy! 😉

2. Geometric shapes

Triangles, squares, rectangles and alternative lines. These are just some of the geometric shapes that are part of Winter Fashion Trends 2022. We’ve noticed that this year, many designers are opting for prints showing geometric shapes. These prints are placed on t-shirts, jeans, shirts, but most often on jackets be it long coats or trench coats.

You will feel creative, fashionable and different! I think that’s the main reason why I love this trend.

You can wear geometric prints in absolutely any circumstance and you will absolutely have confidence that you’re fashionable!

3. Glam it up

Feathers, fringe, pearls, diamonds and chains. These are just a few of the accessories you can find on dresses and garments. Glam is back. Get ready to tackle plenty of extravagant and eccentric outfits, because 2022 is the perfect year. Both high end and low end brands are adapting! We can find lace, satin, corset and sequin dresses among the hangers. Who knows?

The point is, it’s time to prepare your wardrobe for the upcoming events! Do you already know what you’re wearing for New Year’s Eve? 😉

4. Faux Leather

From trousers to vests, dresses and jackets, leather garments are an absolute Winter Fashion Trend 2022. The thing I love most when it comes to clothing pieces made from leather is the attitude they help you adopt. I suppose everyone feels like they can achieve anything when they wear faux leather. Besides, when you add leather to your outfit you will give it an expensive and very stylish look. Isn’t that amazing?

5. Office Wear

I suppose this trend came about because of people who simply want to dress up and go back to work. I love how all women have started wearing men’s suits and adapting them for their tastes and needs. Thus, suits in 2022 are sexy, empowering and more. Are you ready to rock this years fashion trends in high heels and sexy suits? Well, I for one am and trust me when I say that I can’t wait to finally dress office again!

Your Main Focus: Self improvement

Self improvement is when you want to constantly grow and improve your current habits or traits. We’re definitely not perfect, so it’s important to focus on ourselves to achieve our ultimate goals. Make self improvement your main focus this season of change and dare to grow further every single day.

Health should come FIRST

If you want to improve your life, you should first take good care of your health. Considering how the weather can change during Autumn, the risks of getting a cold are pretty high. Drinking herbal hot tea can be a good habit for you.

Tea will help you boost your immune system, can fight against heart diseases and even reduce inflammations. Therefore, a cup of tea everyday will be your best friend during this season of change. Take some time off and just relax while drinking this herbal beverage.

Improve your knowledge

The thirst of knowledge will help you improve different aspects of your life. You can either read books, watch documentaries or even play games. It all depends on how you want to spend your time. As long as you train your mind to seek information, you will always find new things to learn.

It is said that the more you know, you’ll realise that you don’t actually know anything. You don’t know what you don’t know. And I live by that. Every topic in this world will help you at a time. Therefore, this Autumn can be a new start for your self improvement journey.

Start journaling

Journaling is so wonderful. The power of reflection you have when journaling can make you aware of countless things about your daily life. Just sit down and write what you feel in a journal.

There may be things you could never say out loud, but you can write them down to free yourself from them. I’m sure that once you start journaling, it will become a very productive habit for you.

Do you feel that your success is actually a fraud? That you don’t really deserve all the things you’ve achieved? Many people who have succeeded in life, either suddenly or have worked hard for success, end up blaming themselves and believing that they didn’t actually deserve it.

If you feel you fall into this category, this article is for you. It’s time to realise that you actually deserve all the good things in your life: your career, your relationships, the love you’re receiving. Instead of blaming yourself, you should be grateful for everything you’re currently enjoying.

Now, what I need you to do is just sit down. Pour yourself a glass of fresh water and let’s go through this article together. Focus and get ready feel less anxious and proud of your accomplishments.

Confess

Fess’ up! It’s time to say what’s on your mind. One of the reasons you feel overwhelmed and guilty is because you’re going through them on your own. Instead, talk to your loved ones and tell them how you feel. Once you do that, you’ll realise how silly you sound! The imposter syndrome is not an easy one. It comes with a lot of guilt. That’s why you need to talk about it to overcome it.

Think positive

“Be humble. Not knowing something doesn’t make you a fraud, it makes you a student.”

Negativity has never helped. In a world as harsh as the one we live in, you have to think positively in order to evolve. Look on the bright side. If you were the person who succeeded, it doesn’t mean you took away the chance from someone who may deserve it more. You need to exploit your work and prove to yourself that you are the right person for the job.

Success is not easy, you will meet jealous people who will make you feel like an imposter. Stereotypes often arise such as: “Surely he had relationships so he could reach such a high rank”. Don’t feel overwhelmed, feel proud. You know what the truth is and you don’t have to let anyone else tell you otherwise. Surround yourself with like-minded people who can rejoice in your achievements. Put aside the negativity and hate in your life and focus on becoming the best version of yourself.

You are not perfect

The imposter syndrome often triggers because you feel you have to be perfect to achieve success. However, this is far from the truth. Perfection is an impossible thing that no one can have. It’s normal to not know what to say or how to act in different situations. So, if you’re ever put in a situation where you don’t know what to do, don’t think you are not good enough. Everyone makes mistakes and everyone has doubts. You can ask for advice or learn from the people around you. Besides, it’s important to admit to yourself that you’re not the best at everything. For example, there are people who have superior writing skills but are afraid to speak in public. That doesn’t mean they don’t have the words, just that they aren’t necessarily good in a particular field. This can be overcome with good advice, exercise and determination.

It is indeed a fact that real imposters do not have this syndrome. Remember that 90% of intelligent people with a high success rate deal with this syndrome. So if you have realised that you fall into the group of people who have to deal with imposter syndrome, you are a person who has all of the above. You are a hardworking, perfectionist person who often cannot take credit for what you do. It is not a bad thing to be humble, however you should not load yourself with such negative energies.

So, if you need a reminder that you deserve everything you have achieved so far, go back in time and go through all the things you have done to achieve success. That’s how you’ll realise that you actually deserve everything that happens to you.

Therapy

Perhaps it seems to you that only people with a serious problem talk to therapists. Well, it’s not real at all. Everyone needs a licensed, non-subjective person to talk to from time to time. I should mention that when it comes to the imposter syndrome, advice from a professional is much more recommended than advice from a friend.

A therapist will find an innovative and intelligent method to help you overcome your problems. They will never judge you and will make you understand in a split second that you really have nothing to feel guilty about.

That’s why I personally suggest everyone around me to book a session with a therapist from time to time and talk about certain issues.

All things considered, you don’t have to feel guilty about having achieved great things. On the contrary, be proud of your success and help others to rise with you. You can follow any or all of these tips. The decision is in your hands. In the end, all I wish for you is that you make it through this bump in your life and realise how unique you are. Travelling in Autumn is so beautiful. Many places can unleash their true magic when the leaves are turning orange, when the streets are busy with people enjoying the last rays of sunshine and when the rain slowly starts to make its way through the cities.

Pack up your bags, book that ticket and make your way to some of the nicest destinations!

1. Paris

During Summer, Paris tends to be very hot and busy – people travel from all over the world to visit the French capital’s museums and city attractions. But these are not the only things that attract them to Paris. It’s also about the unique architecture of the city, the delicious French food and pastries, the chic fashion and the romantic vibe.

There are many reasons why you should visit Paris during Autumn, but the main ones would be the pretty landscape and the overall poetic vibe: the yellow colours and the city’s magnificent architecture go wonderfully well together. Go on a boat ride and admire the beautiful view – you’ll fall in love with the city during this season.

Walks are another way of spending an enchanting Autumn evening in Paris. Take a walk around the city, go on the narrow streets near Sacré-Cœur and wander to Père-Lachaise Cemetery for some spooky memories. You won’t regret it – I find visiting famous cemeteries quite interesting because you get to see how death is being honoured in different cultures. Plus, Oscar Wilde, James Morrison and Frédéric Chopin are buried there.

If walks and cemetery strolls are not your cup of tea, you can head to the Montmartre Grape Harvest Festival (Fête des Vendanges) which takes place from Oct 6 to Oct 10 this year. The festival takes place on the streets where people can take part in concerts, street entertainment, tastings of artisanal and regional products, a dance, walks, visits and much more. I heard there are also some wine auctions you can take part in. If you’re a wine lover like almost every Parisian, this festival’s for you.

2. New York

Concrete jungle where dreams are made of! Well, that’s New York after all! Alicia Keys couldn’t have said it better.

If Paris is the city of love, New York is the city that promises your dreams will come true.

Everything about New York is just spectacular. Arguably Winter would be the perfect season to visit the city, but Autumn New York has its charm too. Just think about it: the perfect weather to be out and about!

New York Fashion Week. If you love Fashion, you’d be happy to find out that you can even buy a ticket to NFW for the open to the public shows. Imagine a beautiful day full of glitz and glam where you can dress just like you walked out of Gossip Girl!

On the flip side, if you like long walks and hikes, the Pelham Bay Park is the right spot for you! Located in The Bronx, this park will enchant you with forests, woodlands, islands, and will give you a chance to enjoy a beautiful Autumn walk.

If you live in Europe, you’re probably going to want to experience the true American Halloween. Choose to be in New York during Halloween and attend New York’s 48th Annual Village Halloween Parade, go to a themed party and have candy ready for trick or treaters – it will be an unforgettable experience for sure.

3. Florence

If you’re looking for the most romantic places to visit, Florence should be your number one place. You’ll not only find romance, but some of the most important events in Europe, great museums and one of a kind landscapes.

The main reason why you should book a flight to Florence in Autumn is the quietness of the city. You’ll finally enjoy Florence’s beauty without all the tourists.

Everyone knows how delicious the Italian cuisine is. But, have you experienced Italian food during Autumn? I mean, it’s a magical experience. Many food festivals are held in Florence during this season. Choose one and enjoy cooking workshops, traditional dishes and last but not least, Tuscan wine!

Many jazz pubs open during Autumn in Italy. Spend one of your evenings in a jazz pub and enjoy some great music.

This might be quite unusual for some, but in 2022, Fortezza da Basso will host the annual Florence Tattoo Convention. Over a hundred of well known tattoo artists will present their beautiful designs and if you have any questions, they will for sure be more than happy to answer them.

4. Hannover

Hannover will be the perfect destination for you if you love parks, beautiful architecture and shopping. I do my best shopping there – the city centre is a gem!

The old town is perfect for a Autumn stroll, so that when you get tired you can stop for a Pretzel and some cocktails!

When the outdoors are getting a little bit too much, you can try some indoors activities. For example, there is an amazing Sea Life that you simply can not miss. You’ll get to see over 2,500 animals from over 160 species.

If you’re looking to do something more unique, you can try to catch one day of the International Fireworks Competition. Next year, it starts in May and it finishes on Sept 17.

5. Barcelona

Oh, Spain! How could you not love Spain? From the music, the romantic atmosphere, the colours and the people, Barcelona is a must visit! The colourful buildings will create an amazing contrast with the nature’s colours during Autumn.

Barcelona is a beautiful city to visit any time of the year. However, in Autumn there are lots of festivals and the weather is great for exploring the outdoors and visiting museums.

From September until the end of November, you can enjoy a concert at the International Jazz Festival. It’s amazing how this city unites people from all over the world with good music and shows.

If a music event is not that appealing to you, from Oct 23 to Oct 24 go to the Architecture Festival – 24h Open House Barcelona. You’ll be able to visit amazing architectural buildings that are not open to the public usually.

End your trip with a delicious picnic in the Ciutadella Park. Enjoy some local goodies and find your peace in the beautiful settings of the park.

Self development is an amazing thing to focus on. After all, you should do your best to improve YOUR life. Do you happen to feel like making a decision is hard and you get lost during the process?

Trust me, we all have dark thoughts from time to time. Being emotional and feeling overwhelmed is completely normal. However, I’m here to help you as much as I can because I’ve also been through what you’re feeling right now.

Well, I’m here to give you my best pieces of advice when it comes to decision making. Are you ready to embark on this amazing journey?

What does the decision-making process actually mean?

Everyone has to make certain decisions during their lifetime. The process itself is called the decision making process.

It is very important that during this so-called ritual to have a clear mind, to be able to concentrate and to be aware that you have to weigh what your mind tells you and what your heart tells you.

To follow your mind or your heart?

As I have already said in the previous paragraph, a balance must be created between your mind heart. Your heart and your spirit are the things that differentiate you from a robot. Having your own feelings, preferences and fears will influence you a lot in making a decision.

On the other hand, it is important that the situation itself is also passed through the filters of your mind. Why? you ask.

Well, the mind plays a very important role in this process. You need to be aware of the consequences your decision will cause. Calculate carefully the situation you are placed in.

How’s it looking so far?

About attention and concentration

Although people often make good decisions while they are stressed or in a hurry, my advice is for you to focus a little on the decision you are about to make.

You don’t have to rush into a decision, but at the same time you don’t have to think too much either. You will now have to balance things again. If you focus all your attention and time on the decision you are about to make, you will end up missing the point.

Find some free time, try not to panic and clear your mind. Before long, you’ll be able to make a decision. To make your job easier, the whole process can take place in a private, safe and quiet place.

Don’t be afraid of a bad decision

You know what they say, bad decisions make good stories! All kidding aside now. Never be afraid of a bad decision. After all, you did what you thought was right at the time. Everyone makes mistakes. Besides, those “mistakes” will help you in the future. You will know what to adjust in your life and how to look at certain situations differently.

I can say that I have also made a lot of bad decisions. With time, I understood I didn’t have to feel guilty anymore. I learned that I needed to be more careful and focus on my own self-development.

The point is, now that I know that everything is going to take a turn for the better at some point: I am absolutely not afraid of the process of making a decision anymore.

Taking everything into consideration, with a little self-confidence, focus and balance, the process of making a decision becomes simple. Put your anxiety aside and think about what’s best for your future. I think this may be the most valuable piece of advice I can give you right now.

Always remember that you never stops learning. Put your fears aside and really live.

Unpleasant things happen to everyone around us. No one can have a constant smile on their lips and no one can lead a “perfect” life. Why? It’s quite simple, these “perfect” lives promoted all over social media are actually made up. Perfection in the true sense of the word does not exist. Because the truth isn’t perfect.

Therefore, you should not be guided by what others WANT to share online. You have to create your own life, with your own rules, your own desires.

In order to achieve the lifestyle you’ve always wanted to lead, you have to learn to love your own self, to take a moment and be grateful for what you are and understand that only you are responsible for your future. As long as you focus on YOU, great things will come your way.

1. Be Happy with Yourself

It’s very important that you are happy with yourself. After all, nobody else lives in your shoes!

YOU will have to put YOU on the first place! Do you think you can do it? It’s not impossible, I promise!

It’s true that it can be challenging to stop trying to please everyone around us. The point is that someone will always be unhappy. It’s totally normal! You can’t be “perfect” for all the people around you! You have to really be perfect for yourself. And how do you do that?

It all starts with accepting your mindset. Once you do what you know is best for you and for the people around you and they’re still not happy, just know, that it’s on them. If your energy is good and comes from a great place and still not appreciated, I’m here to assure you, it’s really not your problem.

2. Find Joy in Every Single Day

The key to living happily is to find joy in the beauty of simple moments. There are so many valuable things that you could be enjoying on a daily basis … all you need is time and energy to do so. If time is your problem, we’re going to look at that in the worksheet and identify ways in which you could be spending more time doing the things you love. Most of the times, the answers are just in front of you. All you need is some headspace to plan your days so that your schedule doesn’t control you, but the other way around 🙂

3. Focus on the present

Although you were also you in the past, you are different in the present. Makes sense, doesn’t it? The point is that maybe you made certain decisions in the past and stuck to them. You keep going back to what you did and keep blaming yourself. Well, it’s time to stop. People grow up, they mature. You may think you’re the same person, but you’re not. Change is constant in your life. With every word spoken, decision made and action taken we and our perceptions change.

It’s time to focus on the present. It is very important to live in the moment! And this is impossible if you live in the past. It’s quite simple really. In order to discover yourself, it is important to be able to live in the present. That’s the bottom line.
